Alzheimer's Disease
 Alzheimer's Disease Education and Referral Center (ADEAR). The ADEAR web site provides a plethora of information on Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. ADEAR Center is a service of the National Institute on Aging, within the National Institutes of Health.
 National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). The NINDS Alzheimer's disease specific web site provides some basic information about Alzheimer's disease along with references to some organizations that can be contacted for further assistance.
 American Journal of Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias. Sophisticated publication reporting the latest research discoveries, therapeutic treatments for AD, and other pertinent news concerning Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
 HealthWorld Online. Good descriptions of the progression of Alzheimer's disease through the three stages of the disease.
 Agency for Healthcare Policy and Research. Clinical practice guideline provided by the AHCPR that describes the early signs and symptoms of AD and supplies information regarding medical, social, and financial support resources.
 MEDLINEplus Health Information: Alzheimer's Disease. Very good reference site divided into sections dealing with the latest news in Alzheimer's disease along with material from the NIH, general overviews on AD, on-going clinical trials, and information on coping with the disease.

 National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). The NINDS Stroke information page describes what stroke is, the treatments available for it, and its prognosis. Support resources are also given.

 About.com. Generally good reference site about Health & Fitness; covers wide-ranging topics including alternative medicine, diseases and conditions, mental health, and recovery and addiction.
