Mission

eNOS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is dedicated to the pursuit of innovative therapies used to treat various cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer's disease, and ischemic stroke.

To promote and improve overall cardiovascular health, we have formulated a prophylactic treatment regime using daily administration of our EN-100 product. EN-100 therapy enhances blood vessel capacity to vasodilate. Enhanced vasodilation ameliorates the debilitating consequences of conditions that result in decreased blood flow such as myocardial infarction (MI) or intermittent claudication.

In an analogous scenario, daily administration of EN-100 to patients suffering from mild to moderate forms of Alzheimer's disease enhances the capacity of cerebral blood vessels to vasodilate. EN-100 therapy may prolong maintenance of cerebral blood vessel tone, thereby delaying the progression of the disease.

In addition, we have formulated a stroke strategy that utilizes the company's proprietary EN-100 to increase blood flow to the brain. Enhanced vasodilation will sustain brain tissue viability and functionality during and subsequent to stroke. This will reduce the severity of the stroke and improve a patient's outcome after stroke.

The company's strategy is to develop products that improve and restore blood flow through the up-regulation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). Cardiovascular disease states are characterized by a reduction in blood flow; up-regulation of eNOS will provide additional capacity for resumption of normal blood flow. Improved cerebral blood vessel tone resulting from eNOS stimulation in Alzheimer's patients may slow the progression of their disease. After ischemic stroke, increased blood flow in the brain in response to eNOS up-regulation provides an opportunity to minimize brain tissue death, prolong its functionality, extend survival, and generally improve patient outcome.
